New Recipe I want to try- Layered Peanut Butter Oreo Dessert


30 Oreos, divided
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1-1/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 carton (16 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 cups  cold milk
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate fudge pudding mix
Crush 25 cookies; mix in melted butter
Press into an ungreased 9×13 baking dish; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread the peanut butter mixture over crust.
In another large bowl, beat the milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Spread over the peanut butter layer.
Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer
Crush remaining cookies; sprinkle over the top. The picture shows sprinkled butterfingers, but I’ve also seen peanut butter cups.
Cover and chill for at least 3 hours.
